I think that it's a bit foolish to post pics of all your firearms on a public website. Hackers can be burglars, too.

But on the question you asked, I think it's a Ford vs Chevy argument. Both have their good and bad points and the choice is mostly a matter of personal preference as both are good rifles. My choice would depend on my intention for the rifle, and which Model 70 you were talking about. Between the post-'64 M70 and M700, I'd go with the M700, especially as the basis for a custom rifle. There are TONS of good aftermarket upgrades for the M700, and as a basis for a full custom rifle a good gunsmith can work magic with the M700 without requiring a pound of flesh or a first-born child as a down-payment!

But if you're taking about a pre-64 Model 70 vs the M700, well, that's a no-brainer!

Mike

driftrider, you have a point there but I'll be safe.I keep only one pistol at home and the others at the local gun store that offer's firearms storage which it's safe and insured.every week I take them out,go shooting, take them home, clean them, and back they go.I have another fn spr thatI ordered a A-5 mcmillanstock that should be ready any day now.I also bought a jewell trigger set at 1 pound so when I receive my stock everything is going on except the scope. The scope will take 4 months I called US OPTICS monday but that will top everybodys rifle that I know
