If you go with a single shot it's hard to beat the H&R's.

If you still have that mossberg you can get a fully rifled barrel for that if you want.

go with H&R or a winchester 1300 pump with the H&R you can get an xtra shot barrle for about 60 and a rifled barrle for about 100 and i am not sure about the winchester 1300.

Try the Pardner Pump Slug Gun or Pardner Pump Combo.

If your lookin for that versitile of a combination that you can go for deer and turkey. I'd go for a good pump like the Mossberg 500, Winchester 1400, or, my personal favorite out of the three, the remington 870 express. You can't go wrong with a good pump no matter what anyone tells you. I started with an 870 and would recommend it to anyone who was lookin for one gun that could do pretty much anything that asked of it. Now, on the flip side, if you are lookin for a slug gun and only a slug gun then the H&R is the best.
