    Do they make such an animal? The trigger pull on my 500 is very stiff...

    No but I think it maybe adjustable in your current model. I have a Mossberg 500 as well and its fairly stiff but I kinda like it that way. No pun intended.

    Take it to your local gunsmith so he can lighten it up RELIABLY. The trigger pull of mossbergs are very easy to lighten.
