I have a colt upper,7.62x39, less than 500 rounds fired, in excellent condition for sale. Preban style, 16 inch barrel, 1/12 twist. $375

would i be able to mount it on a 5.56 lower?It is a colt also.

I would sure think so. I took it off a cavalry arms .223 lower and it worked fine. I want a 20 inch barrel instead of the 16". I have 1.5 inch 100yd groups with it but think a 20" will do better. But I am also considering a different caliber.
