Remington 11-87???

They're having a sale now ($550 for 3.5", 26" vent rib barell,Mossy Oak Breakup) and I've been thinking of buying one for years. What do you all think of your 11-87s? Do they cycle turkey/waterfowl 3.5" loads as well as low brass 2 3/4"?

That sounds like a pretty good buy. Although I don't have the 3.5 mine is chambered for 3 inch. At the time I was looking at the 3.5's after they came out but Remington didn't have a slug barrel for them out yet. My 3 inch cycles everything from 2 3/4 light loads to heavy deer slugs. Just keep it clean and you shouldn't have any problems.

I have seen 3.5" 11-87s that would not cycle low brass trap loads.

If you can find a well priced 11-87 then id get it. My uncle has one in the mossy oak color. Its a 20 gauge and i love it. If i had the money id buy on ein a heartbeat. Its durable and extremely relible and i couldnt ask for a more comfortable shotgun to shoot. Recoil isnt bad either and it holds 4 shells for sure but im thinking it can hold 5 with the plug ive just never put five iin. But its comfortble and is really fun to shoot. If you have the money buy one for sure. It comes in a 20 gauge or a 12

The guy that couldnt get the gun to cycle trap loads had a dirty gun or his o-rings not in right. Mine works great. If you keep it clean it will cycle trap loads without a problem and the heavey loads never fail to cycle.
