That sounds like a pretty good buy. Although I don't have the 3.5 mine is chambered for 3 inch. At the time I was looking at the 3.5's after they came out but Remington didn't have a slug barrel for them out yet. My 3 inch cycles everything from 2 3/4 light loads to heavy deer slugs. Just keep it clean and you shouldn't have any problems.
