Will this barrel work on the mossberg 935, by chance

Barrels for the 835 are not interchangeable with the 935. If you're hunting deer with a shotgun,you can't go wrong with the fully rifled barrel. Add a decent scope with sabots, you'll have a100+ yard tackdriver!
