The only thing I throw with mine is lead. I have never tried shooting it real fast, it may jam, I don't know. I do know it has never jammed while taking game or during target practice. Maybe I got a good one. I do agree with the posts as to which guns are best. If I was to buy another .22 it would be a Ruger or a T/C.
