This rifle does sound like it would make for an excellent target rifle. I have come across some Schultz & Larsen rifles chambered for 7mm x 61 S&H , so maybe a 22lr. will come around for a reasonable price and I just might give it a try. cma, thanks for all the info...

Well I went to take a look at the T-Bolt and found the action very unique. This rifle handled well and like the new design of the 10 shot magazine. Resembles the Ruger 10/22 but more like figure eight design.
I’m not sure of the history of the T-Bolt but was told they stopped producing these rifle a while back and now are offered in two models, varmint and standard. I’m just going to have to order one and I have a nice little 6-18 scope waiting for it. I still like the Savage and might have to get one in a 17 HRM as much as I hated cleaning that barrel on that 17 that I had in a Savage...
