6mm BR
#1
Well, I end up buying that Bushmaster Varminterupper from aguy on GunBroker. I called him and we started talking guns, and he has a 6mm BR for sale. It has a Rem 700 action, HS- Stock, and a Pac-Nor Match barrel. Only test fired by Pac-Nor. He wants $995 for it, but he said he would make me a better deal. I have wanted to build a .243 Ackley for a while, but this guy said that the BR has a lot longer barrel life, which I know is true. But how do you guys think it would do against coyotes, and stuff at longer ranges compared to the Ackley? It is about 100-150 fps slower.
Thanks Guys

You will never be dissapointed in the 6 br. Depending on the contour of the barrel would determine whether or not its a varmint gun. My 6BR is way too heavy to pack around. But if a coyote is ever dumb enough to step within the 600 yard mark on our range it will turn him inside out I'm quite confident.

It doesn't have a super heavy barrel. He thought it was around 9 pounds.
This is it:

I am going to have to think about this one
. I really like it, but I kinda want to build my own istead of buying one already done...
