hey all. i would like a pellet gun jus to shoot at rabbits and squirrels with around my neighborhood. there are alot of them. what is a good, basic pellet gun that would have enough UMPH to kill a rabbit or squirrel? how much do that cost? are the rifles with the scopes much more expensive than the pistols? will the pistols do the trick? thanks alot guys i really appreciate it.

We recently got an RWS 34 panther in .22 caliber. This will take care of rabbits and squirrels.A .22 caliber pellet moving at 800 fpshas alot more knock down power than the a .177 calibers moving at 1000 fps. This rifle is extremely accurate. We mounted a 3-9x 32mm pellet gun scope. Make sure you mount a scope that is rated for break action pellet guns. The RWS's are high quality guns and have a lifetime warranty. See the attached link.

I had a Benjamin 22 caliber that did a good job on small game. This was 45 years ago but they still make it and its a good one. You pump up the pressure, no CO-2 cartridges to buy.
