I shoot both the 100 grain and 115 grain Nosler Ballistic tips in the 25-06 for deer. Both have worked great for me. The Remingtons should work very well as well and the Corlokt has probably taken more game than most all other bullets combined.

First post, been trolling for a while.
Ive shoot a 25.06 for years and shot core-loks 120s at deer.I never lost a deer with them but had to track some several hundred yds with them,Lung shots.I switched to 117gr ballistic silver tips and drop them in their tracks with major exit wounds.Highly recommend this round.

Is there such a round? I though they were only in 85 and 115gr in .257. They open too violently IMO, except for things like antelope and small deer where such expansion is desirable.

Seeing the Remington 100 grain core lokts were the most accurate load I have shot out of this rifle(1"+), I took a deeper look and found that there was contact between stock and barrel...this rifle should shoot less than an 1" IMHO from sandbags - Ruger M77 mkII SS with 24" Heavy Sporter Barrel. I cut and whittled a polyethylene shim and fletchtited it to the bedding pillar to float the barrel. Will have to try to hit the range tomorrow for accuracy testing now...

Also as soon as I can get my reloading room set back up the load will be a 110 grain Accubond....

If you are going to reload the accru-bonds you may want to try this load.I got it from another poster on here and it shoots this good in my rifle.Took a large 8 pointer last year with it too.
