I am going to order a new S&W---M&P in 40cal. I am not big on semi-auto's except the 1911's. But I am wanting to give this pistol a try. It appears to me that S&W got it right with this pistol. My question is this. What is a good price for this pistol? Just wondering, I would like to get a good deal.

Any opinions or experience with this pistol? Accuracy potential at 25 yards??? Thanks, Tom.

You know, I just bought one at Cabelas in Wheeling WV about 4 mos ago or less but I can't for the life of me remember what I paid. I know it was on order of a Glock, but I liked it way better. I think you summed it up when you said they got it right on this one. You won't be disappointed.

BTW, No Night Sights, at leaston the ones at Cabelas anyway.

i just bought this gun. you're right about S&W getting it right. itsa great handgun. i paid $550 approximately. i shopped around before i bought it and thats the going price. budsgunshop.com has them $100 cheaper but i live in illinois and illinois gun laws make it difficult for me to buy handguns in another state. if you are thinking about buying one just buy it you wont be sorry
