Dont kill yourself on this. If its a little dirty let it be. Run an oily patch down the barrel and put it away. If you are not going to shoot it for a few months I recommend you go over it once a month. Before you fire it though ensure you run a rag through the bore to get out any oil left behind. It wont be very noticeable except for accuracy but the pressure from the round moving over the oil can and will cause small bulges in your barrel.
