My dad is trying to sell a .300 magnum. I don't know how much he's trying to sell for. He just had surgery on his shoulder so he can't take that recoil. He lives in Sun Prairie,Wisconsin.

First off, is your dad even considering selling a rifle online?

You shouldn't advertise if he didn't give you permission.

Second, what brand of rifle is it? What model, what action? Does it have a scope coming with it, or is he keeping the scope?

Which of the various 300 magnums is it?

winchester mag? remington ultra amg? weatherby mag?

Too much rifle for me...I like short action calibers

If you wanta short-action rifle, get a .300 WSM, not as much in the way of ballistics as the .300 Win Mag, but the WSM gets the job done.
