h&r rifles

Default h&r rifles

hye! whats up i just got a new england in a .45-70 and man what a gun! i plan to hunt with this rifle all season, with no scope, over the 7 deer i shoot where not no futher than 60 yards what would yall suggest iono i might put a 4x scope own it iono yet and what ammo would yall use the 300grs orthe 450grs?

I like the 350gr hornaday round nose,54 gr varget at about 1900fps.

That load will knock the socks off anything in NA. I really like the 350 Hornady as well. For deer the 300 grain will do a great job as well.. The 405 grain cast bullets work very well although you may not get the bang Flop that you do with the lighter jacketed bullets.
