Default Which coach gun: Stoeger vs. CZ USA

I just sold my Wingmaster and an SKS I had put up. I now need to get a new scattergun and I've been hankerin' a coach gun for awhile. I had been looking at the Stoeger Coach Gun Supreme, nickel reciever, blued barrels w/ screw in chokes. I'm lookin' at around 400 bucks for it. Just recently while tryin' to check into other possible manufacturers I discovered CZ has one called the Amarillo w/ int. hammers, case hardened finish, polished blued barrel, and some really nice wood. Also screw in chokes. Now I haven't handled many Stoegers before but I do believe the CZ firearms are topnotch in my experience. It'll be about 200-300 dollars for the CZ but I don't know if its worth the added price over the Stoeger.

I have seen both in the shops and my instincts would take me to the CZ. But I have yet to hear from someone who has fired one. Very attractive shotguns for the money.

my main concern isalthough not on the Coach Gun I have heard of some hammer related problems on the Stoegerand this makes me leary. I want a gun that will shoot as good when i buy in two months or so as it will in 50 years.

I have 2 CZ-USA in a Bob white and Ringneck models. they are excellent guns and better quaility than any stoger or remington baklial.
did you know that a $4000 Kimber is the same gun as a CZ only with upgraded wood? I bet some of the other higher grade manufactors are using the huglu made guns.
WHAAT EVER YOU DO DO NOT BUY A NEW L.C. SMITH from marlin they are high priced cheap guns

I boughtthe first CZ Woodcock brought in to the local gun shop and have shot it often. Absolutely no regrets.Looks and shoots great. I haven't shot a Stoeger but after handling one in the shop, it's fit and finishdoesn't appear to be in the same class as the CZ. Go with the CZ.
