I am looking to purchase a good hand gun for home and to carry. I have an interest in the Kimber Ultra Custom in 45ACP ....was wondering if anyone had any first hand knowledge of this weapon and what your opinion is. I know Kimber tomake a quality product in rifles and I assume their hand guns are the same.

If you like thier rifles, your will love thier 1911's. I like them better than my colts.

My opinion is that their 1911's are better than their rifles. Buy with confidence!

ive had the pleasure of shooting a couple kimbers. i think the last 2 were in the tactical family..excellent shooting pistols. no problems with them, shot well, felt good. ive shot a variety of 1911s and i like the kimbers the best. i think youll be happy...
