I wouldn't have traded a 25-06 away on a 7mm Rem Mag when I already had a 30-06, but as long as you are happy.

Seems like a pretty much equal trade to me. That is unless you shoot the 7 Mag and and find out it's got a bad barrel or some other problem.

Sounds like you did alright. If it has decent engraving it should increase the value. They are the same rifles except for the calibers and you said the 7 was in better condition. Both are good deer calibers.Unless the engraving is sub standard I think you did pretty good.

Sounds like a good trade, as long as you are happy. I recently traded a friend my interarms 22-250 for a Rem 700 BDL in 7mm rem mag and i am really happy.

TOTOE...You didn't make a bad trade.

I'm just disappointed that you traded the best WV deer gun away. LOL

Cheer up, Totoe. Now, you can say you miss your old rifle and have a perfect excuse to buy a new .25-06. And keep the 7mm...
