I think almost everyone on here has owned at least one remington in their life, I know I've owned a bunch.
Remingtonfirearms have been very good to me over the years. I've owned all kinds of rifles from pre 64 Wins, to Sauers, Rugers, Sako'sand many more... But, back in the 70's when i decided to build a rifle for myself to crawl around in the alders with, hunting brown bears and other big game, i chose a Rem. 700 action to start with... It's been an excelent choise that has flatten more than it's share of big game, includeing big bears! And here it is,

.338-06, Douglas premium bbl, Leupold 2.5x8 scope, weaver rings.
