Default New Buffalo Classic

I heard from the local gun shop today. I had a standing order in for the new H&R Buffalo classic rifle in 45 LC. It is like the 45-70 BC. Walnut stock and case hardened receiver with the curved crescent butt plate. It has a shorter forend that the Target models. I won't get to see it for a few days as I will be out of town.

What good is it? I don't know but it stirred my fires when I first read about it and now its here.. It will join its big brother the 45-70 BC.

45 LC? Post a picture as soon as you can. I would like to see that. SASS will be happy to see that one. Tom.

The front sight looks very tall. It looks like a great rifle. I have been thinking about one in 38-55, but I might look hard at that 45 LC. Tom.

I really like the 38-55. I have a lever action in 38-55. I wanted one of the BC's to shoot BP in. I just like the 45 caliber. My thought was to possibly have it rechambered to 460 S&W? It should work??? Then I could still shoot 45LC's. Tom.
