Tikka Owners
I am going to purchase a new tikka, but am concerned about the scope mounting options. I noticed that leupold does not offer bases for this gun. What are my options and will it be hard finding bases for this gun

RE: Tikka Owners
If you can't find rings that are made for Tikka, try CZ they will fit if you leave the locking tab off the back one.
Or you could do as I did on mine and used Weaver two piece bases and rings of the proper hight. The reciever is already drilled for the Weaver bases.
I would rather have the Tikka rings, I feel they look more sanitary, but like you say, they can be hard to find.

RE: Tikka Owners
You may want to look in the history at the numerous posts on the subject of rings/bases for Tikka's on this bulletin board. However, it is my opinion that the best ring/base system is the Optilok's from Tikka/Sako. They are by far the best system, they are also by far one of the most expensive systems!
