My buddy has an M1 and I've shot it many a times. Really liked it. I shoot a beretta extrema 2 and absolutely love it too.

I had an M1 Super 90 in black and loved it. I traded for a new camo SBE several years ago and have never had a malfunction on either. I don't duck hunt and primarily use it for turkey with 3 1/2" shells. Lots of kick but I had it lazer ported and the forcing cone extended and that made all the difference in the world.
