Well i got an ad from the local outfitter yesterday and they had this Focchi Trap load in their ad for $47.99 a case!!!! What makes this ammo so good its worth $47.99 a case? Anyone ever shot it?

Definately an ameteur. This is the DEER HUNTING forum. Maybe your question would be a little better aimed (get it - aimed) in one of the other forums where shot is used in the pursuit of those types of game.

Are you saying that $48 a case is expensive or cheap.... because if you ask me it doesn't get much less expensive than that. Only $4.79 a box is pretty inexpensive. I did see some Rem game loads in BPS last week for $3.88 though, but the Fiocchi is a better made load in my opinion.

And in answer to your main question Fiocchi makes an excellent shell as well.

And if that is per case, as in 10 boxes of ammo per case, that is pretty cheap in my opinion. That is under $5 a box. Some target ammo is between 7 and 10 dollars a box. If you think that is expensive look at some hunting loads, they are over a hundred bucks a case, some twice that!

i was wondering the same thing. i know fiocchi makes some good ammo...i thought that was fairly cheap lol. then again its not cheap compared to the 7/8th oz 12ga loads walmart and such places sell for something like 2-4$ a box..sometimes you get lucky and they are 1oz loads i could never figure out why they were so cheap and why i hit better with more expensive ammo...then learned to read the labels. lol.
