Why would you want to?? The 700 action is WAY better then the 710. The 710 sucks.

is that even possible? anyway the 710 is a crappy rifle so stick with the 700. you won't regret it.

I would say no and like has already been stated, you are much better off with the 700 it is a much better rifle. As for a thumbhole stock, they should be very easy to find for a remington 700. I know as a matter of fact that Cabelas had one in their spring master catalog.

The easiest way to convert a your 30-06 to a 710 is to let me buy the rifle from you for 300$ and then you go and buy a new 710$.

I don't think you can even rebarrel a 710.I believe that those barrels are installed by pressure as opposed tothreaded. Anyways they are no good and cannot even be compared to a 700.

Great Idea

NO, I don't think you can and I don't think you would want too.. If ya want a 710 I'm sure any gun shop would happily trade you one for your model 700..

And in case you asked your question backwards you can't make a 710 a 700 either.

Converting a 700 into a 710 look alike would be akin to converting a FordMustang into a Ford ******.
Yep. Just because the 710 appeared on the market later, and has a higher Model number, doesn't mean it's "new and improved". If you go from a 700 to a 710, you're taking one giant step backwards.
