My friend goes to trap shoots with these guys who have $1200 guns just for trap and he's got a mossberg 500 and does just as good as these guys with these expensive guns. And i'm sure after a couple more times out trap shooting i'll be just as good as he is with my $100 NEF Pardner. I personally don't see the point in spending so much money on a gun just to shoot clays with but i'll get off my soapbox, the gun looks perdy

One of the guys that I occasionally shoot trap with decided to refinish his Browning BT99 before xmas. He stripped the wood and sent the butt off to Ohio to have a hydraulic(?) recoil system installed. Had to cost a few bucks. Well after applying 20 or so coats of Tru-oil and buffing and polishing, he finally brought it to the range. He shot it like crap & tuned it for 2 weeks. This guy shoots trap 3 nites a week. After the second straight week of shooting bad, he traded the newly customized Browning for a $5k+ Kreighoff. He's not shooting that one all that well yet either
