Is anyone aware of a publication that lists comparable test data for rifles, i.e., accuracy, reliability, etc?
I've been deer hunting for 6 years, but I've just begun shopping for my first rifle. So far, the information I've seen has been individual's personal preference and experience. And, that info has varied greatly. Some love a gun, while others are getting rid of the same gun.
I'd like to have some actual data to help me make my decision. I'm leaning toward a 30.06 caliber Win Model 70 featherweight or CZ550 American Classic. I like the extractors, weight, feel, and looks of both. I prefer the accessibility of the safety on the M70 over the CZ, however the CZ has a set trigger feature that may prove beneficial.
Any hard data on performance would be greatly appreciated, as well as your experienced knowledge.
Thanks. Still, Learning.
