RE: Brand new Mossberg 935 Mag. Autoloader, broke

So a brand new gun won't work unless I clean it? and that is normal.
Absolutely. Remember that these guns must beoiled/ greasedup enough so that they don't rust while they are sitting in warehouses where it may be very humid. Which may be a year or more.

All of this lexcess ubrication will slow a semi auto gun enough to cause it not to function.

Yep, sure am, if you cannot fire a standard 3.5" Federal Mag Turkey load then that speaks terrible about the gun.
Maybe it speaks terible of the ammunition. Maybe it speaks that the gun needed to be cleaned. Had you tried a different brand of ammo andmade sure the gun was cleanyou may have discovered that the problem was with the ammunition and not your gun. Could just as easily be the ammo as it could be the gun. Or it could have been a simple wipe down that would have taken ten minutes.

Now, I obviously don't know if any of this would be the case with your gun our not but the point is to check a couple of things out before you send off the gun to be repaired and began putting down a company and their products on the internet.

However, if you read both my post's, you will see I am not questioning the gun and you could be right about the oil. Maybe she is very tempremental about the amount or type of oil.

Back to the complaint:

No e-mail answers
Very rude on the phone
Promise dates missed now 3 times

I don't not have a problem with gun having a problem, I haveworked in manufacturing for 20+ years and fully understand it is far from the perfect world. But you better care enough about your customer.

yea, your right theres no excuse for not returning your email in a timely fashion. or for rudeness on the phone, the customer is always right . thats rule number one in business. as for your gun, im a mossy man too and owned one of the older autos that they made ( cant rember the model number think it was 590 ) and had similar problems with it , sold it, found out later it was a cup internally that was installed wrong at the factory. worked flawlessly after it was turned around ( guy still shoots it reguarly, wont sellit back to me ) haveing been in manufacturing you already know things happen differently on friday at 3:30 compared to monday at 9:00. good luck getting this thing straightend out.

ORIGINAL: arkansasbowman

. What I meant is you cannot just take it back and trade it in, not quite that easy.
Arkansasbowman Really it's easier then you think. If the gun is defective the manufacturercan replace it and ship it directly to you.I've been through this three times I can remember. Colt replaced a Diamondback,S&W replaced Model 27 and a couple years ago Ruger replaced a defective SRH.All three were shipped to my door.Ruger I had to sign a form releasing the original S/N from my name.
I can feel your pain with lousy customer services. I went through enough of it with Polaris Industries. For that reason I would never own another Polaris.I don't mind letting it be known either.
