Bushmaster all the way. Varmiter with fluted barrel and free floated aluminum forearm will shoot 1/2" groups at 100 yds and 1.25" at 200 yds. I load my own w/ Sierra 69 gr #1380 match bullets and 24.5 grs of Varget. I also have a Bushmaster in the M4 with the Mini Y and 16" barrel. it shoots excellent as well. It could probaly shoot as well as the Varmiter except is has a Mark 4 CQ/t scope vs. a Springfield 4-14 Tactical on the Varmiter. Just my opinion. Good luck, they are all fun to shoot.

Buy the parts and build your own!!!
I have 2 1/2 AR-15's.
First one is a 16 inch Bushmaster, 6 pos stock, A2.
The second one I built myself. It's a DPMS lowerwith an A2 Stock, Rock River A3 upper in 20 inch.
The 3rd is a Double Star lower with a DPMS parts kits and a 6 Pos. Stock. Haven't decided on a upper yet, but most likely will go with a 16 inch flat top upper, with mid-size length4 rail tube with a Yankee Hill flip up front site.
The 4th will be......????

I believe that most AR's these days are made by the same company, but they just stamp the company'sname that they are selling it toon the lower. I just bought a new 24" Varmint Upper for my Bushmaster lower from mapartsinc.com. After that I have seen the same upper sold by other companies all claiming that they are the ones that made it.
Handloads will get me under a dime with 5 shots.
