I want to know which one has more ammo availabilities on the market. Which one would you say is better for predators and small game? Thanks.

The 22 hornet is more available and about 1/2 the price of the 218 bee ammo. If you handload the 218 Bee is not bad but over the counter will get to your wallet quick. The 218 is a better round but not that much better . When I first got mine I went into a shop in palmdale Ca and they wanted $54.00 for a box of 50 . It costs me about $7.45 to load them myself .

Is anyone making a rifle chambered in 218 Bee right now? I know there are a few manufacturers of 22 Hornet rifles.

winchester makes a 218 bee. but thats it.. get the .22 hornet. anshutz makes an awsome tack driver one

Is the Anshutz 22hornet a single shot or multiple shot? What type of action is it? And, isn't the Anshutz usually expensive???

I really want a rifle that holds multiple rounds and is a "shooter" for lots of hunting. Not looking for range target type shooting. I want a durable, affordable and dependable rifle. Thanks.

Anschutz is a repeater, and is EXPENSIVE. You can get a much more affordable repeater in the CZ 527 for about 475 dollars, or the Ruger M77/22 for about the same money... from many other responses to the same question, most prefer the CZ for accuracy right out of the box, but the Ruger is capable of just as good a level of accuracy, but sometimes it takes a little tuning to get there. Both are WAY more affordable than the Anschutz... I think they are in the 900-1000 dollar range, but I don't have any exact prices....could be mistaken.
