mauser06...

i used those SPBT 165gr. sirre gameking's. but my exit out of the rib cage was a HUGE hole. but exited the hide about the size of a half dollar.
but seems to be identical with the SP's and the HP's. mine was also taken at 50yds.

thats pretty interesting...i hear people saying how hps and balistic tips blow deer up and such...my dad uses ballistic tips and unless i reload and even if i do i think im going to use them...thats the 3rd deer ive taken with hpbts and its drops em like a rock or they dont go far at all and enough blood to find them...imo they are the best deer bullets made from what ive used..i didnt look on the inside of the cavity...the holes were what i could see on the outside...i would keep using the sierras but my friend that helped me load them and use his stuff os more than likely not going to talk to me because hes immature....i stayed at his camp and he hates to see anyone else get a deer...the rest of the guys at the camp arent really hunters they sit out for a few hours max and are back at camp so he gets pretty mad about it...i do like what they do and the price isnt bad at all compared to the ballistic tips...does any manufacturer use the sierras do you know?
