You see, I did an internet search awhile back, and came across a thread where a fellow was asking for a youth model 10 Gauge for his 8 year old, and he also said that he was looking into a youth model 50 BMG, as well, as his kid's first rifle.[8D]

Actually a 50 cal dosnt really kick as much as you would think it dose. Its about the same as a light 30-06. The gun weighs soo much. The one im getting weighs in at 32 pounds empty and no scope or bipod.

I know what your saying but i wouldnt hesitate to let anyone shoot it that i know can shoot a 30-06. I let a friend of my dads son shoot it and he loves it. He is 12 years old like 5'2" and prob 120lbs wet. He didnt have any problem shooting it.
