These will work wonderful. Particularly on broadside rib shots. Like most 130 grain .270 bullets, they are designed from the ground up for deer hunting.

I shot the .270 Fed. 130gr NP for years and killed, Deer and Hogs with excellent results! Havekilled Elk with 150gr NP.

You can't kill elk with a .270, its impossible.

I used to have a .22, that I would take deer hunting, it was a little Marlin, with a wooden stock, so, Icut the words, 375 Ultra Mag into the stock, and I killed 15 deer, just from the shock of seeing that on the gun.

I'm a .270 owner that prefers the 150s over the 130s. Both are the same price - so if accuracy doesn't suffer more than an inch or so, thenwhy not go with the bigger bullet?
