Wal-Mart sucks! I'll spend a few extra dollars down the street anyday.

aside from the fact that I have walmart stock and want them to do VERY well as a result here's an example of why i dont' mind walmart:

sims limbsaver recoil pad at walmart is 19.99

the exact same thing, same size, brand, everything at one local shop is 34.99

and I don't know about you guys but I can't afford to pay an extra 15 bucks just to "help out the little guy" I understand they are trying to make a living but having a ridiculous mark-up like that isn't helping anybody.
For guns and gun accessories, you can't really beat Wal Mart prices.
Right. I got my Savage .270 a solid 100 bucks cheaper from walmart than the price at the store mentioned in the original post.

Oddly enough though, that store is actually cheaper on the majority of their calls and clothing than walmart. Hmmph...go figure.
Yeah, same with my Savage, the price at a local gun shop was $420.00, I got it at Wal Mart, for $339.00,that $81.00 I saved, can go towards ammo, and an ammo butt stock.

i've been meaning to call it out for a while but you seem very knowledgable about every firearm around here. are you a dealer or collector or something?

Well, some people on this forum, claim that I don't know what I'm talking about, but, most of the time, I do. The ammo butt stock, is a pouch that fits over the back of the rifle, and it has several loops that you can put your bullets through, they are really handy, when you are at the shooting range.

ah, ok. I understand. I was picturing it as being some type of stock where you slipped ammo inside the butt plate.

And screw the haters. You've been nothing but friendly and helpful to me in my month or so tenure here.

The local gun shop in woodward Oklahoma beats Wal-Mart prices to hell. The name is Sportsman Supply in case anyone is curious. Tell Butch that Eddie sent ya.

think it would still hang by the time they added about 6 or 7 bucks to ship?
