Sometimes you just get a good one

The Remington ADL in .243 Win I bought for my daughter for her birthday las monthlooks to be a good one.
I took her to the range Saturday to sight in her rifle. I fired one shot at 50 and moved to 100 yards. Two shots to get the impact whereI wanted it and then shot a 3 shot group. With absolutely nothing done to the rifle, not even messing with the 6 pound trigger, the very first and only group I had time tofire with it measured .78 inches center to center with Federal classic 100 grain soft points. She then shot it for the first time and her group was right at 1.5".
This was all very rushed as I had to get ready for a Christmas party that evening so we only had about 1 hour at a public range.
This one looks to be a good one.

Aught six, we went hunting the next day but didn't see anything.
She is a pretty decent shot for her age and I have the utmost confidence in her ability to about 150 yards give or take. With practice she'll be shooting sub MOA groups before long.
She regularly shoots my 444 Marlin, .270 Win,12ga shotgun, 22 rifles and hand guns, and40 S&W.
As a good bonus I took my sons 30-06 alsocauseI bought him some Hornady 150SSTto try and fired a couple groups with it and it grouped just under an inch center to center at .9 inches.
Also took my .270 that day to try some Hornady 130SST but it didn't like them at all. It fired those into about a 2" group.

I've got a 700 ADL .243 also. I love this rifle!!! Three shots this weekend, three animals for the freezer. Head shot on a doe at 40 y ards. Double lung/heart shot on a buck at 80 yards. Both dropped in their tracks. And, a 175 yard shot through the lungs of a running 40 lb. pig at 175 yards. She took a couple of steps (probably momentum) before she landed in a cactus patch.
