Default Remington 700 DM Kit

I was wondering if anyone knew where i could find the kit to make my gun a Detachable Magazine gun. My friend just bought the Kwik Klip from cabelas and put on his gun, but they don't offer it in stainless steel. I was wondering if anyone knew where or how i could get a kit to do this to my gun. By the way it is a 30.06. Its getting old having to load and unload from the top all the time.

Midway may also carry these. Personally, I don't like them. The one made by H-S Precision, although a little pricey, is a much better moustrap. I would rather have a regular BDL floorplatethan the factory Remington DM.

Roskoe is on target. To unload the BDL just take out from the bottom.

Roscoe/ BC,

I got a idea a few years back but haven't followed through. Let me know what you think. I want to convert a BDL floorplate to accept a Browning A-Bolt style clip. The A-Bolt clip is sweet. Just lower the floor plate and remove a Magazine clip. It doesn't sound hard but I haven't looked into it.

I'm sure it's "possible" - just a matter of how much alteration will be necessary. It's also "possible" to build a semi-auto pistol from a Handyman Jack. It would probably take me a year and cost about $10,000 though

For all that, I would still just get a HS Precision DM kit. These are very well made and are used by quite a few competition shooters. If the Browning was better, that's what they would be using.
