I finally got around to calling Grices today and ordered the special run 7600 7mm-08. I sure hope this thing shoots at least as well as my Rem 700 Mtn LSS 7mm-08!!!!

I would bet that it will shoot around one inch groups with its prefered load. I almost ordered one from them last year.

I know going in that I'll have to get some trigger work done. I doreload, so I'mhoping that I canwring MOA out of her once I find a load she likes. If I can get MOA, or close to it, I'll be a happy camper.

Definately needs trigger work. Got to get a spring kit, since a traditional type trigger job would make the gun unsafe. It won't ever have a trigger like your 700, but it will be minute of deer for sure.

I took into possession my grandfathers 760 pump in 30/06 after he passed. I worked up some loads for it and it shoots right at, or inside an inch at 100 yards. Very respectable, but, the trigger on it is about like you would expect on an 870; 7lbs and two stage travel....

I am contemplating getting some trigger work done on my 760 as well. I cant figure out what else could be done besides smooth things up and change springs.
