I have shot a 710 in .270 for the past 2 seasons and haven't had any problems whatsoever.

Savage .300 Win Mag andNEF 500 S&W.

With a vital shotfrom a magnum under 100 yards, deer tend to drop in their tracks, I have seen it countless times, and anyone who wants to talk about the 30-30 being a better rifle than a magnum can send a PM my way.
From your previous post you sure sounded like you thought youhad a lot of experience, why the sudden persona change?
Because, I like to see how some of you answer my questions, because some of you believe I am someone else.
So your just screwin with everyone? Whats the point? Too much time on your hands?

I didn't check any tables but I seriously doubt the 243 will shoot flatter than the 300 mag. also jag, what do you expect to hear, as I think the 243 makes perfect whitetail medicine,If I owned one I would certainly use it.
Check the load data yourself. .243 on average drops less at 400 and 500 yards. I don't lie.
I did check and the only .243 bullets shooting flatter are the 90 and 80 gr bullets. The 100 gr loads seem to drop more than the 150 to 180 in the .300 mag.

Its kindof like comparing a Cadillac to a Honda. The Cadillac will get there, but use a lot more gasbut canhaul a lot more people doing it. The Honda gets there much more efficiently but doesnt have as many capabilities. There, thats my comparitive analysis for today lol. If you where serious about your question, I congratulate you for at least asking. Its better to ask a than to not and make a big mistake as a result.

The REAL LOSERS are you guys who give him a hard time for asking the question. You all posted sarcastic answers, on your own free will, attempting to bash him. Therefore, he's not wasting your time. You are wasting your time. This is a "forum". People are supposed to ask questions here. And you have NO AUTHORITY over him, so give give him a break, and quit acting like the Taliban. Why does it matter that he asks a question like this? People should be able to ask whatever they want.

In response to the question: A 300 win mag is much more powerful than a 243. Although as a deer rifle, both are excellent inside of 200 yds.

Anyone want to break it to ths78?

BTW, in the future, don't compare Americans to the Taliban, that's a bad idea.
The Taliban have killed many of our brave soldiers, and we're pretty angry about that. Again, you Canadians might be anti-American, but please, have respect for the dead, and don't compare their countrymen to the dead's killers.

If y'all want to find out who's who then why not just get a moderator / administrator to check the IP of the member and former member in question?

Because a mod can't do anything like that unless the guy is braking the rules. Logging in under other user names, isn't against the rules.

I stand by what I said.

The Taliban restricts freedom of speech. American's do not b/c we value what other's have fought for...our freedom. I belive you have it backwards, not me.

This is a forum. You need to get a life if any post hurts your feelings.

This all goes back to you guys needing to give the thread starter a break. He may have not known that a 300 Mag was stronger than a 243. For example, A 357Mag is not stronger than a 243. He said he was a beginner. If a 243 is stronger than a 357 Mag, I can see how he may have thought a 243 could be stronger than a 300 Mag.

pahuntr760, you are a clown
