Is a B-square mount fitted for the remington 870 compatible with an E O Tech holographic weapon site? My 870 uses a fully rifled replacement slug barrel made by Ithica. Has anyone had any good results shooting sabot slugs through an Ithica slug barrel? Although each barrel produces different results I would like to narrow down which sabots to try first given the $12+ a box price tag.

May I suggest purchase of a Mossberg combo barrel package? Should run you about 169/179 for your 870. You get a fully-rifled & ported barrel with cantilever scope mount, fitted with a factory laser bore-sighted 3-9X40 scope.

I have never been a fan of B-square and B-square type mounts.
