I just got a Tikka T3 Lite in 30-06. I have a 30mm scope with 56mm lens objective but is 65mm outside tube. I want to buy the Warne mount/rings but do not know which to buy, med, high, or super high. How do you find out which to buy? Any place to find the numbers? Any recommendations from you folks would be helpful.

Buy the tikka/sakobases with the optiloc rings.....you will never damage your expensive scope. Forget any other mounts and rings......they are not a wise choice IMHO. One of the costly offshoots of owning a Sako/Tikka. You will need the high mounts. Measure everything before ordering and call Beretta. Regards, Rick.

Rick,
Thanks for the reply. I went ahead and ordered the Optilock bases and rings in Medium size they can accommodate a 67mm bell and my scope is 65mm. I may just need to get creative with my Butler Creek Objective Flip Cover. Thanks for the help. These are expensive $150 but I did not want to skimp when I feel I have gotten a nice rifle and scope.
