Just wondering what the difference betweena 10/22 and a 22LR is?

dont tear me apart if im wrong, but i thought a 10/22 is a specific type (Ruger) of .22LR. other than that i dont know

yes you are right, a 10/22 is the name of a model that Ruger makes, and yes it also shoots the .22LR(Long Rifle) round, that pretty much sums it up i believe,
