I just bought a tikka (lite model--blue/ synthetic) in 7mm rem mag--Yeah baby. I've been looking for about a month and found what I think to be the best deal I've seen ...paid $470.00-new
here it is (stock photo):

I can't wait to get my hands on it--bought on internet auction site (gunbroker.com). I'm thinking I may have to put a simms recoil pad on it as it only weighs about 6.5 lbs. I believe. Anyway, I've got a vari-x 3-9 that's been waiting for a good home
.
just had to share my excitement
.
Take care

I have an Ithaca LSA 65 which I bought in 1974. I think this rifle was made by Tikka, and it's a shooter for sure. It was damaged in a house fire in 1977 and I had it refinished, but the guy who did the work screwed me on the quality. The gun doesn't look like much but it shoots like a dream, great trigger, fits me like a dream and the easiest thing to hit a running deer with I've ever touched.
