RE: Ruger 10/44
maine shooter, you ask the same question I wanted to ask. I have a deerfield carbine which I've killed 3 at the same time with, also running. Yes I used to be a rogue of sorts, but I grew up and cleaned up my act. But those little carbines are so well ballanced and handle so well, you gotta love them. I never needed anything other than 240 sp,or hp ammo and usually the same load I use in my super blackhawk. 24 gr H110 240 gr bullet and cci350 primer. This load is very hot in some guns but seems fine in mine, just start at 21 gr and work up!
