Once upon a time people were having this done on SBE I's and performance was muchbetter, why isn't thisbeing done for the SBE II's?
Briley can and will do it, but why don't I here about it anymore.

I thought SBEII's were backbored like my browning gold. There can be too much of a good thing. I had my forcing cone lengthened on a 870 express once. Didn't see any pattern differences. I was going to use it for turkey. Maybe it was my shells. I was using remington.

Nope, the barrels are the same dimentions as the SBE I, only difference is they are cryogenticly treated. The new Beretta extrema 2 is the only one overbored from Benelli/Beretta, the orginal extrema wasn't either.

Check www.angleport.com. I've had them lengthen the forcing cones in a couple of my O/U's and they have been great. Quick turn around to. I think they charge around $100 a barrel.
