Default Savage 93R17-BV .17HMR

Hey guys, just picked up a new savage model 93R17-BV in .17HMR, does anybody have any experience with this gun, (was given for free in exchange for handywork to gunshop owner so I didn't exactly do much research on it before i got it) thanks for your help,

I have the standard wood blued heavy barrel savage and love it. I just wish I would have waited to get the accutrigger.

Mine is pretty darn accurate and fun to shoot.

I love mine. But I did have to do something witht he trigger. I put one in from RifleBasix, and it is now a real shooter. I went from a 6 pound trigger to one set at 12 ounces. The RB trigger is adjustable from 10-26oz. And it is well worth the money.IMHO

I fixed my trigger as well, but I did the ink pen spring and shim trick. It works reasonably well.

I bought aSavage BTV (RJ) .17 HMR with accu trigger recently, haven't shot 50 rounds through it yet but I love the rifle. Crisp trigger, accurate shooter.
Sight it in and enjoy.

I have one with the accu-trigger. I love it!! A quarter will almost always cover a 5 shot group at a 100 with all of the 3 ammos I have tried so far.

same here, great accurate rifle. I too put a rifle basix trigger on mine. Wish I would have waited for the accutrigger.
