Default Scopes

quick question(s) How long will it take to mount a scope on my rem. 870? Is mounting a scope a process that requires you to shoot the gun and then make adjustments to the mount? Or can I get the scope mounted and then sight it in without help? Any suggestions on what scope to get? (Deer hunting- somewhat open terrain) cost is an issue but quality important too... Thanks...

Default RE: Scopes

Any weapon you mount a scope on needs adjustments. Mounting a scope only takes 1/2 hour. After it's mounted,go to a 25 yard range and start from there...just to get it hitting paper. Slug guns such as the 870 are only good for shots around 100 yards so sight the gun in at 100 yards. As for the scope,Bushnell and Tasco will do the job just fine...<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
