RE: SxS or O/U ??
Well I went out yesterday to see what I could find. I found one Citori White lighning in 20G. It is along the lines of what I want but with that kind of coin, I'd like a better fit. The best fitting I found was an old 12G Baikal in fixed F/M barrels. It came to shoulder with precision and was light weight. That's the fit I want so I'll press on. Unfortunately there is very little choice in WPG.

RE: SxS or O/U ??
When I went looking for an O/U, I was finding that in various models either a Browning fit, or a Beretta fit. Both are excellent guns, but have different feel to them. I went with the Browning, but the Beretta's were very nice as well, and it seemed to be that there were a few better deals on them. Another thing to keep in mind, is that if you find everything you want in a gun for the price you want to pay, and it doesn't fit quite the way that you think it should, is that there are people out there who will professionally fit the shotgun to you. They can look at you with the gun, and can then determine what it needs done to it to fit you perfectly. They will shorten/lengthen the stock to fit your length of pull, or bend the stock for height or cant. I haven't ever done this, but from what I understand about shotguns, it has been said that very few shotguns can be bought off the shelf and fit someone. Shotguns are built for the theoretical average person, of which few of us fit the description. Another resource that you can look into that's more oriented to shotguns is www.shotgunworld.com.
