Drool over this you bums! This is a SWEET Husqvarna Rifle imported from Sweden by Smith & Wesson in the late 1950's to early 1960's. I put on the Simmons Master Series scope, and the leather strap. I just restored her in March. Getting ready to taker her out for some blastin' in a couple of weeksto get ready for deer season!

Well, I've not modified it at all. It's a .30-06. The only neat feature is really the monte carlo stock with schnable forend. This one is rare because most were bleached white, and this one has a awesome polished oil finish. Only the oil finished stocks were made for the rifles in Sweden, all the imported models aslo have a plastic coating and bakelite tips on the forends. So mine is a little special in that way, that I has the Deluxe model stock from Sweden that was ussed on the 3100 Crown Models (presentation series). It's a 20.5" barrel.

That is a sharp looking stock, careful not to beat it up while hunting! Always good to see someone go the traditional route in my opinion, very nice, enjoy.

Nice piece, I have just recently got the chance to shoot my fathers .308 carbineHusqvarna that looks exactly like the one you have pictured. Although I didnt care to much for the redfield scope that was mounted on it, it seemed to hold a real nice group out to 300 meters with factory ammo. I can not wait to shoot that again after he has a load worked up for it.

I guess him being a Viking (made by husqvarna) sewing machine dealer for 36 years he has got to know a great product when he see's one. I could now kick myself in the rear for not buying it when I told him about it.

Does yours have the 3 leaf folding sight?
