CZ Rifles.
Does anybody have one? They seem very nice and are affordable. I really like the single set trigger they have. And there made in the USA. Let me know what you guys think about them.

They are imorted from the Czech Republic by CZ-USA
I have their heavy barrel .17 HMR and think it is a fine rifle. Can't speak for their center fire rifles but if you search through the previuos threads they were discussed in depth by a few guys who know a bit about them from first hand experience.

CZ has been in business making mauser 98 rifles since the 1920s, and have always made some of the finest mausers. They are made in Czecholoslavakia, but don't let that deter you, CZ was the largest small arms manufacturer in the world between the 1920s to the late 1930s.

RE: CZ Rifles.
CZ rifles have a reputation of being an excellent value for the money...
I've talked to quite a few CZ owners over the last few years and one quality stands out...Accuracy...I have never heard of one that was not very accurate..
I bought a CZ 550 American in 9.3 x 62 a few years ago and it is one of the most accurate hunting rifles I own...It consistently groups under an inch with 250 grain Barnes X bullets..The single set set trigger is a nice feature also.. It is easily adjustable for both the set feature and the single stage pull...I'm no gunsmith but I adjusted mine just by following the directions in the manual, and it's sweet....

I have a 452, and 453. They're both really nice. Mine are older with standard triggers but I did good trigger jobs on them.
The only thing I'd change is the swing safety. It's a good, positive safety but operates in reverse compared to Mod 70 swing safety's.
I have several 22's and 17's: Marlin, Ruger, Savage, Mauser, Winchester, and I use my CZ's more than any others
