Thanks for the tip Stubble. That just might be the best way to go when investing so much in the firearm and time to set it up...:D

Sorry further to the gunboot talk, I too have seen problems that Stubble speaks of. I fill the lower portion of my boot with high density foam then wrapped it in duct tape and placed a pull string to remove(allows me to change the fillerfordifferent barrel size). In doing such the force is on the barrel not the scope and I have never experienced a problem, shift, etc in many years of koplin boot use. Just an ideafor those who have boots already!
